Born and raised in Mokopane (Potgietersrus), South Africa. Diagnosed with the congenital heart disease Wolf Parkinson White syndrome at an early age, Renier lived most of his life dominated physically, spiritually and emotionally by the syndrome and its associated symptoms, Renier experienced healing through Reiki on such a level that he dedicated his calling to healing others and teaching them to heal themselves and other.

Renier first started his life path in Theology and was ordained as minister in 1998. He continued studying Life Coaching and was Certified as Life Coach and NLP Practitioner in 2012. Then in 2015 he got certified as a Professional Firewalking Instructor. In his search for healing and he started studying Reiki in 2013 and started to teach 2017. He continued studying different styles of Reiki. It is during this time he learned of Traditional Japanese Reiki, which resonated so much with him that it is now his preferred style of self-practice and teaching.

Renier is currently Studying and practicing Taijiquan and Qigong, Metaphysics, Philosophy & Psychology with the intent of obtaining a Ph. D. in Metaphysical Science.
